In this post we are going to share with you the details through which you can assess how much marks are needed for admission in MBBS on open merit in a Public sector medical college in Pakistan.
With the competition and number of people taking MDCAT increasing every year it is important to have an idea about where do you stand. If you were unsuccessful this year, will you be successful in the next year.
After the dissolution of PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) and with the establishment of PMC ( Pakistan Medical commission ) a lot has changed. PMC has taken charge to conduct a single National MDCAT as a basis for admission in Public sector and Private sector medical colleges of Pakistan. PMC has obliged every university of Pakistan to keep a 50% merit score from the candidate score in National MDCAT in admissions.
PMC conducted its first MDCAT in 2020 which was taken eventually taken after many delays. Not going into further details we are going to talk about merit here.
