Aggregate formula for MDCAT

In this post we are sharing with you the aggregate formula for MDCAT. You can use the information below to calculate your aggregate for MBBS/BDS Admission.

According to the Admissions taken place in 2020, after PMC (Pakistan Medical Commission MDCAT, the following merit formula is used 

National MDCAT : 50%

FSc Pre- Medical : 40% 

Matric : 10%

Easy way to calculate your aggregate for MDCAT

Let say your Fsc score is 950 and total HSSC score is 1100. 950 is the score is the score in matric and total SSC score is 1100. And your National MDCAT marks are 170 out of 200.

Follow below steps to calculate your aggregate for admission.

Step 1

Calculate 50% of the national MDCAT score. Better use 4 decimal places or round off upto 4 decimal places.
170/200 = 0.85 
Multiply it with 50
0.85×50 = 42.5

Step 2

Calculate 40% of the FSc score, 
950/1100=0.8636
Now multiply it with 40
0.8636×40= 34.544

Step 3

Calculate 10% of the matric score.
950/1100= 0.8636
Now multiply it with 10
0.8636×10 = 8.636

Step 4

Now Sum all the answers of each steps.
42.5+34.544+8.636= 85.68
